Would using 100% pinrapple juise instead of 50% juice & 50% water cause the cake to fall?I used a cake mix but instead of using milk as i usually do i used a cup of pineapple juice. I realized after that i should have used some water not all juice.
Would this make the cake fall? I've never had an upside diwn cake fall before.

I want to make a chocolate butter pound cake. what do I do??

- 3/4 cup butter or margarine, softened,
- 3 eggs,
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour,

- 1/4 cup baking cocoa
- 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon.
Heat oven to 350 F. Grease bottom and sides of 9x5 inch loaf pan with shortening; lightly flour. beat sugar, butter, and eggs with an electric mixer. Add remaining ingredients and mix again. Pour into pan. Bake 50 to 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Can you put pineapple on the bottom of a cake mix?Haven't tried it yet, because no one can tell me how.

I love your Super Moist Butter Pecan cake mix but a lot of the stores are running out and not replacing this cake mix. I would love to know if I can purchase bulk through Betty Crocker/General Mills? And ask if you can keep the Butter Pecan cake mix just like the Yellow and other popular mixes.

My milk chocolate and german chocolate cakes did not rise very good. What would cause that? Would it possibly be over beating of the mix?
Replacing the milk with juice would cause a change in texture/ However it should not make the cake fall. Simply replace the oil, milk, or water called for in the recipe with pineapple juice in equal proportions.
